Dear Mr. Wendell,

Due to the chronic degenerative joint disease in the lateral compartment of your right knee, I believe that a monoski would be better for your knee than using conventional dual alpine skis. The rationale behind this is that pressure on the lateral compartment would be lessened on the mono ski. In addition, the torsional stress may be reduced, decreasing shear forces in the lateral compartment.
